With social media playing an ever increasing role in job searching, job seekers need to use all the tools available to give them the edge. The Mark Twain Neighborhood Library is presenting a free workshop, “Getting Started with LinkedIn”, on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 3:00 PM.
This hands-on workshop will help participants set up a LinkedIn account, while using their own resume to fill in work experience, skills, and training. The workshop is first-come first-served. Registration is not required. Attendance is limited to 8 participants. Participants will need an email account, Long Beach Public Library card and a copy of their current resume.
The Mark Twain Neighborhood Library is located at 1401 E. Anaheim St. in Long Beach. Contact Shirley Phillips for more information at (562) 570-1046.
