On Saturday, September 12, at 2:00 PM, the El Dorado Neighborhood Library will host an LA Opera Community Educator, who will present a multi-media program about the opera Pagliacci.
Filling the stage with hair-raising drama, the action plays out in a breathtaking contemporary urban landscape. When a cuckolded husband takes his revenge, his desperate wife must fight for her life in front of a cheering, oblivious audience.
This presentation is free. Light refreshments will be served and a free opera-related gift will be given out at the end of the presentation.
This program is part of the LA Opera Lecture Series, presented by LA Opera’s Community Educators, a team of trained volunteer experts. The LA Opera Lecture Series presents insightful talks on opera’s history, literature, philosophy, and fine arts. El Dorado Neighborhood Library is located at 2900 Studebaker Road, Long Beach.
