Homework Help The Family Learning Center is open Tuesday and Thursday 1:00 - 7:00PM, Wednesday 1:00 - 6:00, Friday and Saturday 1:00 - 5:00PM. Special Collections The African American Resource Area, established in 1998, includes over 3,000 items that focus on African American history, biography, and achievement. Collections include the Tucker-Hale Collection of Black Women’s History and Biography, Men of Courage, and Gifts of Heritage for Children. Most items are available for check out.
Technology LBPL cardholders have access to public computers with internet, Microsoft Office, and printing. Access is on a first come basis and is limited to 30 minutes per day.
Facility Rental The community meeting room has a capacity of 90 and is available on a rental basis.
History The original Burnett Library was established in a classroom of Burnett Elementary School in 1910. The 'new' Burnett Library celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2009.
