Madame Butterfly Presentation The El Dorado Neighborhood Library hosts LA Opera Community Educator, Edward Lieb, for an illustrated talk on Puccini's tragic opera, Madame Butterfly,a tale of a young Japanese geisha awaiting the return of her American naval officer husband, not suspecting that he married again in his own country.
