Volunteers from the Friends of the Long Beach Public Library run the bookstore, located in the lobby of the Main Library. All proceeds support the purchase of new materials for the library. Check the display case outside the bookstore or visit our silent auction online.

You can help by donating your gently used books, magazines, and movies. Just bring the items to the Main Library lobby and ask for a tax receipt if you need one. We sort and distribute donations to benefit all Long Beach Public Library locations.

We are always looking for volunteers willing to serve one shift a week in the bookstore.
