Friends of the Long Beach Public Library

About Us
Established in 1962, the Friends of the Long Beach Public Library is a non-profit 501c3 organization. Our first goal is to preserve the freedom of the library and prevent censorship. We also advocate for a strong public library system. We provide materials, support summer reading programs, provide cultural and literary events for the community, fund training for library staff, and keep abreast of current issues affecting the library.

Bookstore & Silent Auction
Support us by shopping at the
Friends of the Library Bookstore or participating in our silent auction.
